Verkhovna Rada adopts Law "On introduction of amendments into some legislative acts of Ukraine as to improvement of specific provisions in judicial system"

The legislative act introduces amendments into the laws "On High Council of Justice" and "On right to fair trial," which define that:

— a member of the High Council of Justice takes office immediately after the assignment to the position to a body he/she is appointed by;

— a member of the High Council of Justice, who is part of it in compliance with his position, immediately takes oath at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine;

— members of the High Council of Justice appointed by a congress of judges of Ukraine take office following oath-taking ceremony at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Respective draft law was registered under No. 2860.
