Verkhovna Rada Committee for Tax and Customs Policy recommends Ukrainian Parliament adopt as a basis and on the whole draft law "On introduction of amendments into Tax Code of Ukraine" (as to taxation of incomes received by nonresidents from debt obligations)

Committee members eyed the draft law No. 2931 at their meeting on May 21.

The draft law offers to exempt legal entities from tax on profit and individuals from tax on income obtained by nonresidents (legal entities and individuals) in form of interest or income (discount) for domestic government loan securities or bonds secured by the state or a local bodies.
