Verkhovna Rada adopts as a basis draft law "On introduction of amendments into some legislative acts of Ukraine as to consolidation of institutional capacity of National Bank of Ukraine"

The draft law is aimed at the creation of legal grounds to enable the National Bank of Ukraine to fulfill its constitutional duties as the central bank of the state having considerable influence on the financial stability of the country. Besides, the draft law brings standalone provisions of the Law of Ukraine "On National Bank of Ukraine" in line with European practice and Ukraine's obligations to the International Monetary Fund.

Respective draft law was registered under No. 2742.
