Verkhovna Rada Committee for Social Policy, Employment and Pension Coverage recommends Verkhovna Rada adopt as a basis adapted draft Labor Code of Ukraine

Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee for Social Policy, Employment and Pension Coverage Liudmyla Denisova noted that draft Labor Code of Ukraine No. 1658 includes new progressive provisions aimed at protection of rights of employees.

"The adapted draft document introduces new principles of legal regulation of labor relations. In particular, the period of annual major vacation is exceeded from 24 to 28 days. It envisions the order of state publication of terms of the labor law; specifies notions of parties and subjects of labor relations," she added.

According to the Head of the Committee the new draft Labor Code also includes the notion of labor relations and sets the order of employment under court ruling.
