Verkhovna Rada Committee for State Building, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government recommends Ukrainian Parliament reject draft law "On introduction of amendments into Law of Ukraine "On state service" (as to demand of political impartiality)"

The draft law No. 1596 offers to set the demand as to termination of membership of political parties by state officials for the period of execution of their authorities at executive bodies via introduction of respective amendments into the Law of Ukraine "On state service" No. 4050-VI dated November 17, 2011, which should take effect on January 1, 2016.

The Committee notes that on April 23, 2015, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as a basis the draft law "On state service" No. 2490, which already contains the demand as to departization [termination of ability to remain a member of a political party] of the state service.
