Head of the Verkhovna Rada delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Artur Heraymov along with colleagues representing the Ukrainian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Mariya Ionova, Andrii Lopushanskyi, and members of the European Parliament/representatives of different political groups and informal group Friends of European Ukraine have paid a visit to the anti-terror operation (ATO) zone, visited the most problematic settlements — Shyrokyne, Volnovakha and the city of Mariupol.
European Parliament representatives wanted to personally verify if the ceasefire regime is observed and studied the level of destruction of settlements in Donbas.
The delegation of the European Parliament was headed by Petras Austrevicius, head of the Group of Friends of European Ukraine.
