Verkhovna Rada Committee for Agrarian Policy and Land Relations recommends Ukrainian Parliament adopt as a basis draft law "On introduction of amendments into Item 15 of Transitional provisions of Land Code of Ukraine" as to combating illegal trading in farmlands"

The Verkhovna Rada Committee for Agrarian Policy and Land Relations has recommended that the Ukrainian Parliament adopt as a basis the draft law "On introduction of amendments into Item 15 of Transitional provisions of Land Code of Ukraine" as to combating illegal trading in farmlands."

The draft law offers to introduce amendments into the effective code to eliminate gaps in the legislation that allow illegal alienation of farmlands via signature of preliminary agreements in compliance with requirements of Article 635 of the Civil Code of Ukraine.
