Verkhovna Rada adopts Law "On introduction of amendments into some legislative acts of Ukraine as to social protection of Ukrainian citizens serving in army during special period"

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted the Law "On introduction of amendments into some legislative acts of Ukraine as to social protection of Ukrainian citizens serving in the army during special period."

The legislative act expands the period of effective guarantees as to retention of jobs from 12 to 18 months. It also improves the order of budget compensation of average wage at an enterprise, institution, organization for employees recruited for military service.

Respective amendments have been introduced into the Code of Labor Laws of Ukraine and into the Law of Ukraine "On military duty and military service."

Respective draft law was registered under No. 2079.
