The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted as a basis the draft law "On introduction of amendments into some legislative acts of Ukraine as to service in Armed Forces of Ukraine by persons without citizenship."
The draft law offers to introduce amendments into the Laws of Ukraine "On military duty and military service," "On Armed Forces of Ukraine" and "On statute of Interior Service of Armed Forces of Ukraine" that envision regulation of entrance to military service and servicing by foreigners and persons without citizenship under contracts on positions of common soldiers - color sergeants in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military units.
The draft law also offers to revise the wording of Article 447 of the Penal Code of Ukraine entitled "Recruitment."
Respective draft law was registered under No. 2389.
