The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted as a basis the draft law "On introduction of amendments into Law of Ukraine "On statute of Interior Service of Armed Forces of Ukraine" as to use of personal wireless access devices."
The draft law offers to enhance control over the outflow of information, in particular, from the antiterrorist operation zone and to prevent from detection of Ukrainian military units’ positions by the enemy.
The draft law envisions adding the Statute of the Interior Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the Supplement No. 20 as to the use of personal wireless access devices by servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is also offered to introduce amendments into Article 59 of the Statute to determine authorities of a commander of a sub-unit in the field of use of such devices.
