On May 7, the Verkhovna Rada Committee for Legislative Support to Law Enforcement hosted a meeting with representatives of the European Union Advisory Mission for reformation of civil security sector in Ukraine.

Participants of the meeting were Mission Head Kalman Mizsei, high level strategic police advisor with the EU Advisory Mission to Ukraine Keith Murray, and Head of the Administration of Justice Advisory Unit Robert Boer.

Head of the Committee Andrii Kozhemiyakin informed the guests about the activity of the Committee and its subcommittees, as well as about current projects in the field of reformation of the law enforcement system currently eyed by the Committee.

In turn, Kalman Mizsei expressed his appreciation to the work of the Committee dedicated to the consideration of the said draft laws and told about the work of the Mission that started its activity following the President’s signature of the Law of Ukraine “On ratification of the Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union as to the status of the European Union Advisory Mission for reformation of civil security sector of Ukraine.”

The participants of the meeting pointed out the ways of further cooperation in improvement of effective legislation and the law enforcement sector of Ukraine.
