Head of Verkhovna Rada Committee for Environmental Policy, Environmental Management and Mitigation of Consequences of the Chornobyl Disaster Mykola Tomenko meets with citizens

During the meeting, over 20 citizens from the city of Kyiv, Kyiv, Donetsk, Zhytomyr and Kirovohrad oblasts raised the following questions: social protection of Chornobyl NPP disaster consequences liquidators, legislative initiatives as to environment protection, protection of archeological monuments and assistance to migrants from the antiterrorist operation zone.

The Head of the Committee noted that after the consideration of the appeals, the Committee will shortly evaluate the situation and try to find the ways to tackle the issues the citizens appealed on.
