Verkhovna Rada Committee for State Building, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government recommends Ukrainian Parliament send for adaptation draft law “On introduction of amendments into Law of Ukraine “On status of local council deputies” (as to deputy recalling procedure simplification)”

The Verkhovna Rada Committee for State Building, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government has recommended that the Ukrainian Parliament send for adaptation the draft law No. 2123 “On introduction of amendments into Law of Ukraine “On status of local council deputies” (as to simplification of the deputy recalling procedure).”

Members of the Committee agreed with remarks of the Verkhovna Rada Committee for Budget Affairs saying that the implementation of the draft Law may entail increase in expenditures of local budgets. Moreover, feasibility study has not been provided for the draft law despite the requirements of the Budget Code of Ukraine and regulations of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
