Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee for Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship Viktor Halasiuk, Verkhovna Rada deputies, military experts and representatives of charity organizations have paid a working visit to Washington (the United States) at the invitation of the Center for U.S.-Ukrainian Relations and the Ukrainian Strategy All-Ukrainian Non-Government Organization.
The trip was aimed at holding a number of meetings with American senators, congressmen, representatives of the U.S. Government, politicians and public activists dedicated to informing about the situation in the east of Ukraine, threat of new aggression, and to escalation of the military conflict.
Oleksandr Dubinin, the head of the subcommittee for industrial and investment policy of the Verkhovna Rada Committee for Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship, along with Halasiuk represented Ukraine’s economic interests during the said visit.
