Members of the Rivni Mozhlyvosti interfaction association have met with senators and congressmen in Washington (the United States).
The Ukrainian delegation consisted of members of the association Iryna Heraschenko, Mariya Ionova, Olena Kondratiuk, Liliya Hrynevych and Aliona Babak.
Their working visit to Washington was organized by the International Republican Institute.
In the frames of the five-day visit, the members of the Ukrainian delegation discussed situation in Donbas and in Ukraine on the whole.
In particular, the Verkhovna Rada deputies met with Senator John McCain, representatives of Senator Bob Corker, Congressmen Kelly Ayotte and Peter Roskam.
Besides, the delegation had a meeting with head of the Atlantic Council John Herbst and other experts of the Council, as well as representatives of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
