Verkhovna Rada Committee for Tax and Customs Policy recommends Ukrainian Parliament adopt as a basis draft law “On introduction of amendments into Chapter XX “Transitional Provisions” of Tax Code as to taxes on importation of electric cars to Ukraine”

The Verkhovna Rada Committee for Tax and Customs Policy has recommended that the Ukrainian Parliament adopt as a basis the draft law No. 1912 “On introduction of amendments into Chapter XX “Transitional Provisions” of Tax Code as to taxes on importation of electric cars to Ukraine.”

The draft law offers temporary exemption of electric cars classified under 8703 90 10 00 HS code from import taxes until January 1, 2020.
