Verkhovna Rada Committee for Tax and Customs Policy recommends Ukrainian Parliament adopt as a basis and on whole draft law “On introduction of amendments into Sub-Chapter XX “Final provisions” of Tax Code of Ukraine as to special individual protective means”

The draft law No. 2202 offers to exempt from value added tax the importation of fabric (materials) used in production of helmets going under HS code of 3920 61 00 00 and fabric (materials) used in production of bulletproof vests going under HS code of 3920 61 00 00 (polycarbonate in sheets) for the period of anti-terror operation and\or during martial law.

Members of the Committee supported the draft Law, which will allow depreciation of fabrics for the production of individual protective means after importation to Ukraine and save lives and health of greater number of Ukrainian military men serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ministry of Interior Affairs and the Security Service of Ukraine.
