Verkhovna Rada Committee for Combating Corruption recommends Ukrainian Parliament adopt as a basis draft Law “On introduction of amendments into some legislative acts of Ukraine following adoption of Law “On National Anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine”

The draft law No. 2492 has been elaborated in fulfillment of Sub-Item 2, Item 4 of Chapter II “Final Provisions” of the Law of Ukraine “On National Anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine” in order to bring legislative acts in line with the said Law and to support practical implementation of its provisions.

The Committee also eyed the Cabinet of Ministers' draft law No. 2494 “On introduction of amendments into Laws of Ukraine “On National Anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine” and “On combating corruption” and decided to recommend that the Ukrainian Parliament reject it.

Besides, the Committee concluded that 159 draft legislative acts correspond to requirements of the anticorruption legislation and found 16 draft laws not to be in line with it.
