The Verkhovna Rada Committee for Environmental Policy, Environmental Management and Mitigation of Consequences of the Chornobyl Disaster has supported the adoption of the draft law No. 2502 “On introduction of amendments into Administrative Offences Code of Ukraine (as to strengthening responsibility for violating legislation on protection of mineral resources).”

The draft law toughens responsibility of citizens and officials for mineral resources the raising of fines for their unauthorized use.
