Following respective order of Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, the coordinator of the workgroup for elaboration of Chapter VI entitled "Stabilization of macroeconomic situation and reformation of economy" of the draft plan for legislative support to reforms in Ukraine Viktor Halasiuk held the first meeting of the group.
Opening the meeting, Halasiuk noted there are at least five fundamental documents that determine the strategy of development of the state and economy and specified that among them there are: the Agreement on Coalition of deputy factions at the Verkhovna Rada of the eighth convocation named European Ukraine; Strategy on stable development of Ukraine entitled Ukraine 2020; Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union; Cabinet of Ministers’ Activity Program; and annual Address of the President of Ukraine to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The elaborated proposals will be submitted for generalization by the Legislation Institution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and later be used during the elaboration of the draft plan for legislative support to reforms in Ukraine.
