Verkhovna Rada Committee for Free Speech and Information Policy hosts roundtable entitled "Introduction of culture of journalist insurance for ATO zone"

The Verkhovna Rada Committee for Free Speech and Information Policy has hosted a roundtable entitled "Introduction of culture of insurance of professional journalist activity in antiterrorist operation zone in Ukraine."

Deputy Head of the Committee Serhii Vysotskyi said the insurance of journalists today is very important as in 2014, a total of 11 representatives of mass media organizations were killedthe anti-terror operation.

The participants of the roundtable have addressed the Committee offering to establish a workgroup of representatives of mass media organizations, insurance companies, authorities, journalist and civil trade union organizations for legislative regulation of journalist insurance.
