While the consideration at the April 8 Committee meeting, it was noted that the draft law No. 2426 offers to index the amount of alimony set by courts in firm amount.
In compliance with the draft law, enterprises, institutions, organizations, individual entrepreneurs, who withdraw alimony from debtors, will automatically have to hold indexation of such funds. In turn, a state enforcement officer from territorial bodies of the State Enforcement Service will control the indexation of the amount of alimony and in some cases envisioned with the Law — independently hold respective indexation.
Taking in account appreciation of consumer commodities and services, members of the Committee consider that the said legislative amendments will allow supporting women with children, for whom the court sets the amount of alimony in firm amount.
