Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopts Law “On introduction of amendments into Law of Ukraine “On peculiarities of state regulation of activity of entrepreneurs related to sale and exportation of timber” as to moratorium on exportation of unprocessed timber

The Law is aimed at revival of wood-making and furniture industries of Ukraine, creation of jobs, reorientation from exportation of timber for exportation of products with higher level of processing via the introduction of moratorium on exportation of unprocessed timber for the period of 10 years.

Respective draft law was registered under No. 1362.
