Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopts Law “On ratification of Agreement between Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Government of Iceland on readmission”

The Law ratifies the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Iceland on readmission signed in New York on September 25, 2013. The ratification of the Agreement will create legal grounds to enact the Agreement that determines the order of acceptance and extradition of persons staying on the territories of Contracting Parties in view of violation of legal rules of entrance by them; and the order of departure and staying of foreign citizens and persons without citizenship. The Agreement will also combat illegal migration.

Respective draft law was registered under No. 0007.
