The draft law No. 1447 offers to introduce amendments into Article 18 of the Law of Ukraine “On education,” into Article 27 of the Law of Ukraine “On higher education,” into Article 20 of the Law of Ukraine “On vocational-technical education,” into Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine “On general secondary education,” into Article 16 of the Law of Ukraine “On school education,” and into Article 14 of the Law of Ukraine “On out-of-school education,” which envision declaration of religious organizations holders of right to found secular educational establishments of different forms and levels of accreditation.
It is also offered to introduce amendments into Section 4, Article 18 of the Law of Ukraine “On education,” which rules that the need for educational establishments founded by religious organizations and their network is determined by managerial bodies of respective religious organizations — founders.
