Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopts Law “On setting terms of recycling of some products beyond customs territory of Ukraine”

The Law sets terms for recycling of spent fuel elements and uranium oxide concentrate beyond the customs territory of Ukraine and in compliance with technological cycles of processing of such products, in particular:

— not more than 30 years for spent fuel elements from nuclear power units (commodity code under the Ukrainian Classification of Goods of Foreign Economic Activity 2844500000);

— not more than 2 years and 9 months for uranium oxide concentrate (natural uranium concentrate) U308 (commodity code under the Ukrainian Classification of Goods of Foreign Economic Activity 2844109000).

The draft law is registered under No. 1917.
