Dear friends!
I sincerely congratulate you on the 100th anniversary of Poltava National Pedagogical University named after V.H.Korolenko.
The teachers’ institute that over the years turned into a prominent national educational institution and a powerful educational center with significant scientific achievements, was established in the faraway 1914 in the heart of Ukraine –picturesque Poltava.
Over the period of university’s rich history, more than 60 thousand of professionals received here their education. Outstanding scientists, word-men, educators and public figures studied within these walls. The names of famous graduates – A.Makarenko, V.Sukhomlynskyi, H.Vashchenko, M.Ostrohradskyi, V.Verkhovynets, Yu.Kondratiuk, O.Kovinka and many others are forever steeped in the history of international culture.
It is pleasant that both today the university cherishes scientific, cultural and enlightening century-old traditions – democracy, aura of spirituality, high professionalism and patriotism, atmosphere of creativity and charity, love to native language and culture of Ukrainian people.
I wish all your friendly Korolenko’s family peace, sound health, creative inspiration and new achievements for the good of native land and independent Ukraine!
