As it was mentioned during the meeting, the bill (Reg. No. 4039a) includes proposals on determining conditions for introducing activity on extracting such minerals, the order of activity, subjects of such activity, etc.

According to the Committee members, the bill has some drawbacks, particularly, it has editorial and terminological discrepancies. People's deputies stressed that the bill's norms shall be complied with other provisions of the Code of Ukraine on Mineral Resources and the current laws.

The Committee members took into consideration that the Cabinet of Ministers does not uphold the bill, and the Central Scientific Experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat suggests refining the bill.
