From the bottom of my heart I congratulate you on this memorable day – the 1025th establishment anniversary of Novhorod-Siverskyi.
On such days as the city's establishment anniversary everyone feels like a member of a great family where the history of the native land is cherished the most, where its present and future are being created.
Every year Novhorod-Siverskyi is becoming more and more comfortable: unique historic buildings are being preserved, the streets are being renewed, and modern infrastructure is being created. However, it manages to preserve the most important thing – its unique identity. Today I want to convey the words of gratitude and deep respect to you, citizens of Novhorod-Siverskyi, thanks to your inspiration and talents, self-devotion and persistence grey-haired Novhorod-Siverskyi, one of the oldest cities of our country, is blooming youthfully.
I am sure that these virtues will help us defend our sovereign Ukraine and gain the right to live in a modern European country.
