As was mentioned during the meeting, since 2009 the State Property Fund of Ukraine (FDMU) fails to satisfy the decisions that were adopted following the results of a competition for tenant right to certain objects of former airfield-technical complex “Uzyn”, with a view of establishing the International Uzyn freight airport on their basis, as well as the respective resolutions of the Higher Economic Court of Ukraine.

It was stressed that as a result of the abovementioned, the state has already suffered a financial loss in the amount of approximately UAH 130 mln.

Following the results of discussion, the Commission (jointly with the parliamentary Organized Crime Control and Anti-Corruption Committee) approved the conclusions of the respective working group, headed by the people’s deputy Eduard Leonov, regarding bringing FDMU leadership to responsibility. The committee decided to address the Prime Minister of Ukraine with a proposal to change FDMU leadership.

The Committee has also considered the bill registered under No. 4541a and took the decision to uphold the bill on amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On the list of state property that is not subject to privatization” (re excluding “Ploskiv” State Stud Farm from the list of objects that are not subject to privatization) (Reg. No. 4261a).
