The Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis and in entirety the draft law on prohibition of massive open air celebrations and the use of pyrotechnical devices on the entire territory of Ukraine for the period of conducting anti-terrorist operation

Reporting on the bill (Reg. No. 4433a), Chairperson of the Committee Andrii Kozhemiakin noted that in connection with conduction of anti-terrorist operation and combat actions in the East of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada is suggested to “temporary prohibit massive open air celebrations and the use of pyrotechnical devices, until the anti-terrorist operation in the eastern regions of Ukraine is completed.” 

Committee members unanimously upheld the draft resolution adoption of which will help secure rights and legal interests of population, as well as honor memory and show respect to those fallen in the course of the anti-terrorist operation.
