The bill suggests establishing additional guarantees regarding social protection of military men called up during mobilization; preserve their workplaces and salary; and prevent decline of welfare state of the military and their families.
The bill stipulates obliging banks and other financial institutions to suspend accrual of interests and penalties to debtors called up during mobilization, and guarantee them to preserve their workplaces and salary level.
Under the draft law, no additional checks can be carried out during reinstatement in work.
The document suggests establishing that the state suspends charging taxes and other levies required from a sole proprietor called up during the mobilization for the period of their service.
The bill suggests imposing criminal responsibility for improper performance of a military and transportation duty (evasion and non-fulfillment) on the part of heads of enterprises.
The respective amendments are to be made to several legislative acts, in particular, to the Criminal Code and the Labour Code of Ukraine, as well as to the laws “On Mobilization Training and Mobilization”, “On Military Duty and Military Service” and “On amendments to several laws of Ukraine re ensuring mobilization”.
