Chairperson of the Committee on Science and Education Liliia Hrynevych participated in the solemn matriculation at the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”

Addressing the university community on August 31, 2014, the Committee Chairperson noted “What do we expect from a student of Mohyla Academy? A student of 2014. Form the year that will enter the history of Ukraine and that will be written in every school-book. The year of hope, of our pain, our will, our victories and our losses, as well as our new opportunities.”

“Today we rely on you a lot. I consider this matriculation to be the unfolding of our intellectual and spiritual battlefield for our independence and for our European future,” stressed Liliia Hrynevych.

“Actually, you have a chance to become the golden personnel reserve of our country. By having entered this educational establishment, you have already proved that you have skills and ambitions. You lay claim to be the best, however, to claim does not mean to be. The Mohyla Academy gives you the possibility and a chance! And you have to grab the opportunity.  

I just want to ask you, please, keep in mind that this not merely your personal chance. This is a chance for the entire country. You must understand this responsibility when attending classes, going to a lab, an archive, or a library,” noted the Chairperson of the Committee addressing the freshmen of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
