Staff of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat expresses condolences on passing of a famous Ukrainian politician, people’s deputy of Ukraine of the first convocation, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the USSR of the tenth and eleventh convocations KHOMENKO Mykola Hryhorovych.
Mykola Hryhorovych went a long way from a regular electrician of Shostka production association “Desna” to high positions of the Secretary of Presidium of the Verkhovna Rada of the USSR, Chairperson of the Secretariat, and Secretary of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine.
Whatever position Mykola Hryhorovych occupied – a low one or a high one – he was always himself: open, modest, and hard working.
