Under cover of humanitarian assistance, the Russian Federation wants to form a corridor for supplying terrorists with tanks, volley fire systems and weapons that destroy Ukrainians.
This was announced by Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Turchynov answering questions during a joint press conference of Parliamentary Speakers of the Nordic and Baltic Countries on August 17-19 (Palanga, the Republic of Lithuania).
In words of Oleksandr Turchynov, Russian representatives resort to provocations speculating even on humanitarian assistance. He explained that Russian humanitarian convoy "is a more fake format, the main part of which consists of water and salt". "There are no problems with water in the East. Artemivsk, Donetsk Oblast, produces the greatest amounts of salt in Europe", he said.
The Chairperson of the Parliament stressed that the format of "humanitarian assistance" Russia offers does not take into account problems of the East, this "assistance" was formed exclusively to supply terrorists with weapons. "This is the format of their humanitarian assistance. This is the death's assistance", he summed up, adding that Russia will not be able to cover its aggression with this "fig leaf".
