Oleksandr Turchynov claims officers and soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, and other units "who lost they lives for our country are the real heroes of Ukraine". "Their courageous deeds shall forever remain in our hearts and in our history", claimed the Chairperson of the Parliament, adding that it is necessary to make everything possible so that the memory of those who protected integrity and inviolability of Ukraine with their lives "remains forever with us as an unshakable foundation of our freedom and independence".
"This serves the reason for creating Alleys of the Memory of Heroes of Ukraine where they should be buried decently. Memorial complexes both in the central part of the capital and in other parts of our country should be established as well", he added.
