The bill (Reg. No. 4658) suggests determining that medical confidentiality is information about state of health, medical examination, checkup and its results, as well as about intimate and family aspects of life of a Ukrainian citizen, a foreigner or a person with no citizenship, received by medical, pharmaceutical and other staff in the process of prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.
It is also planned to establish that medical, pharmaceutical and other staff shall not make public the information of medical confidentiality except for cases stipulated by the legislation.
The bill includes a norm according to which persons shall bear disciplinary, civil and legal, administrative and criminal responsibility for making medical confidentiality public.
