The Law amends the budget due to the necessity of regulating the country's defence capacity issues.
The Law increases revenue and expenditure parts of the State Budget of Ukraine for 2014. It also increases the limiting amount of the national debt. Additional budget revenues are expected to be received from individual income tax, fee for subsoil use, the EU assistance programmes, excise tax, non-tax revenues, etc.
It is suggested that the expenditures for financing governmental authorities and several budget programmes are decreased.
