For the period of mobilization, the legislative act provides the following categories of persons with draft exemption: custodian men with three or more children under 18; custodian women with children under 18; men and women raising a child (children) under 18 alone (such persons can be conscripted for military service, given their consent and only at the place of residence); as well as custodian women and men with an adult (under 23) disabled child (children) of group I or II.
The respective provision shall be applied to custodian adoptive persons, foster parents or trustees with children under 18. Such persons can be conscripted for military service, given their consent and only at the place of residence.
The respective amendments were made to the laws “On Mobilization Training and Mobilization”, “On Military Duty and Military Service” and “On Social and Legal Protection of Military Men and Members of Their Families”.
