The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as a basis the draft law on execution of judgments and implementation of practice of the European Court of Human Rights (re securing execution of courts’ judgments)

The bill suggests amend the Law “On Execution of Judgments and Implementation of Practice of the European Court of Human Rights” in order to accelerate execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights and implement the rights of citizens to fair judicial inquiry.

The bill aims at eliminating gaps in legislation regarding execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights in view of protection of rights and freedoms of the citizens of Ukraine.
