The bill (Reg. No. 4458) suggests "introducing new approaches to development of entrepreneurship, simplifying conditions for entrepreneurship, improving legislation in this sphere, introducing global experience for creating European quality of life for Ukrainian citizens, and attracting foreign investments to the country".

People's deputies took into consideration that the Cabinet of Ministers did not uphold the bill as its provisions contradict current legislation.

Having considered and discussed the draft law, the Committee members claimed peculiarities of regulating craft activity can be regulated by the Tax Code and by the Law "On Folk Artistic Craft", thus, introducing additional state regulation in this sphere is irrelevant.
