The draft (Reg. No. 4109a) suggests suspending accreditation of journalists and technical workers of some mass media of the Russian Federation.

It was stressed during the discussion that the draft Resolution aims at "preserving national security of Ukraine, preventing informational threat and protecting citizens' right to information".

The Committee members also paid attention to the fact that the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council filed a claim to the District Administrative Court of Kyiv about recognizing activity of such foreign channels "Pervyi Kanal. Vsemirnaia Set", "RTR-Planeta", "Rossia-24", "NTV-Mir" as conflicting with Laws of Ukraine and the European Convention on Transfrontier Television, and asked the court to adopt a decision on broadcast of the abovementioned programmes in multichannel networks across Ukraine.
