The Law establishes criminal responsibility for financing actions aimed at forcible change, overthrow of the constitutional order or seizing state power, change of the boundaries of the territory or the state border of Ukraine.
The Criminal Code was supplemented with a new article 110-1, according to which, "financing actions aimed at change of the boundaries of the territory or the state border of Ukraine
– is punished by imprisonment for three to five years with deprivation of right to occupy certain posts or conduct certain activity for two years with confiscation of property.
Financing actions aimed at forcible change, overthrow of the constitutional order or seizing state power
– is punished by imprisonment for five to seven years with deprivation of right to occupy certain posts or conduct certain activity for two years with confiscation of property, etc".
The Law also stipulates that "a person, except for a leader of an organized group, is exempt from criminal responsibility for actions stipulated by this article if they voluntarily claimed about the committed".
