During the Committee’s meeting on May 21, in the presence of candidates, representatives of mass media, and media market experts, documents were considered for their compliance with requirements of articles 5 and 7 of the Law “On the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council of Ukraine”.
After hearing all seventeen candidates present at the meeting, the Committee voted. Following the results of the voting:
Burmaka Maria Viktorivna: 7 in favour;
Herasymiuk Olha Volodymyrivna: 7 in favour;
Hritsak Konstiantyn Ivanovych: 6 in favour, 1 abstained;
Iliashenko Oleksandr Borysovych: 4 in favour, 2 abstained, 1 against;
Kotenko Kateryna Serhiivna: 5 in favour, 1 abstained, 1 against;
Krainiak Yurii Olehovych: 6 in favour, 1 abstained;
Kotiuzhynska Tetiana Hryhorivna: 7 in favour;
Martyniuk Rostyslav Mykhailovych: 5 in favour, 2 abstained;
Mykhailiuta Oleksandr Oleksandrovych: 3 in favour, 4 abstained;
Miasnykova Kateryna Andriivna: 6 in favour, 1 abstained;
Miroshnyk Rodion Valeriiovych: 1 in favour, 4 abstained, 2 against;
Chernysh Oleh Mykolaiovych: 7 in favour;
Polkhovych Halyna Oleksandrivna: 5 in favour, 2 abstained;
Popova Tetiana Valeriivna: 6 in favour, 1 abstained;
Shvets Oleksandr Oleksandrovych: 4 in favour, 3 abstained;
Shevchenko Taras Serhiiovych: 7 in favour.
Thus, documents of sixteen candidates for the post of a member of the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council of Ukraine are submitted to the personnel administration of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat. After conducting a special examination, the abovementioned documents can be submitted for consideration in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine that will finally appoint four candidates of the National Council.
