The bill stipulates regulate relations arising during the process of introducing metrological activity.
The bill suggests distinguish between regulatory, supervisory and economic functions in the metrology sphere; broaden the mechanism of accreditation, harmonize legislative acts to the full extent with documents of the International Organization of Legal Metrology, with acts of the EU legislation on metrology, and with documents of the European Cooperation in Legal Metrology; create a state metrological inspection.
Respective amendments are to be made in the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements, the Laws “On the List of Permits in the Economic Activity Sphere”, “On licensing in the sphere of economic activity”, etc.
