The Law is aimed at fulfilling criteria of the first phase of the Action Plan for the liberalization of the EU visa regime for Ukraine.
The law expands the concept of “additional protection” in accordance with the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council of the EU 2011/95, and concept of “temporary protection” in accordance with the Directive of the Council of the EU 2001/55/ЄС.
The document considerably expands the circle of foreigners and persons without citizenship who will have grounds for receiving additional and temporary protection in Ukraine.
Respective amendments were made to the Law “On refugees and persons in need of additional or temporary protection”.
Respective bill was registered under Reg. No. 4580.
