The Verkhovna Rada adopted the Law “On amendments to article 24 of the Law of Ukraine “On elections of the President of Ukraine” (re decreasing the number of members of precinct election commissions)

According to the draft document, such amendments were made to current legislation:

1) in chapter one the word “twelve” to change to the word “nine”;

2) in chapter eight words “less than twelve persons, precinct election commission is formed by a district election commission by a submission of its chair based on proposals of the commission’s members in the number of twelve persons” to change to “less than nine persons, precinct election commission is formed by a district election commission by a submission of its chair based on proposals of the commission’s members in the number of nine persons”.

Respective bill was registered under No. 4813.
