The bill (Reg. No. 4105) suggests mandatory reduction of a working day by one hour for all registered pregnant women workers with preservation of their average salary.
The respective amendments are to be made to article 51 of the Labour Code.
Committee members upheld the bill, adoption of which will help refine legal basis in the sphere of health protection of pregnant women workers and reinforce their labour guarantees.
