The Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement recommends that the Verkhovna Rada adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine re strengthening responsibility for violating legislation in the sphere of providing administrative services

The Committee members considered two bills: on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine re strengthening responsibility for violating legislation in the sphere of providing administrative services (Reg. No. 4404), and on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine re strengthening responsibility of government authorities and local self-government authorities for violating legislation in the sphere of providing administrative services (Reg. No. 4404-1).     

It was mentioned during the discussion that both bills suggests establish responsibility of government authorities and local self-government authorities for violating legislation that regulates providing administrative services. Thus, it is suggested to supplement the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements with a new article 18844, make respective amendments to article 221 and to article 255 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements.

Authors of the alternative bills also suggest amend article 41 of the Labour Code.

Having analyzed the bills, the Committee members claim it is necessary to recommend that the Verkhovna Rada adopt as a basis the bill (Reg. No. 4404-1), and reject the bill (Reg. No. 4404).
