At the
Committee’s meeting on April 16, it was mentioned that the bill (Reg. No. 4516)
suggests supplement article 50-1 of the Law “On the Prosecutor’s Office”,
articles 5, 9 of the Law “On pensions for persons
discharged from military service,
and
some others”, article 15 of the Law “On social
and legal
protection of servicemen and
their families”, articles
136, 138, 139 of the Law “On the Judicial System and Status of Judges” with provisions
on depriving the rights of dismissed
officials (civil servants), who during November, 2013 – February, 2014
participated in maintenance of public order, fulfillment of other duties and
investigating crimes against participants of protest movement in Ukraine and
other mass events during this period, in order to prevent officials (civil
servants) from using the right to receive special pensions and one-time financial assistance.
Moreover,
it is suggested to supplement the list of reasons for terminating judge’s
resignation (as a result of which monthly lifetime
financial allowance is not paid) with a fact of “breaking the oath”.
